Bixby Insurance Agency, Inc. was established in 1991 for the purpose of helping Design Firms fulfill their Insurance and Risk Management objectives.

Bob Bixby, a graduate engineer from the University of Rhode Island, worked as an engineer with Factory Mutual Engineering for about ten years prior to becoming an insurance agent.

Our agency insures over two hundred and fifty design firms in six states. Our clients like doing business with us because we understand what they do.

We are a proud member of a/e ProNet, a non-profit organization of experienced insurance broker specialists serving the a/e community and a leading resource of free risk management material online.
